Globe 2.0 T-Shirt

The Globe 2.0 T-Shirt alludes to the early stages of the brand. The design is an updated version of a limited edition shirt that was never released to the public, but was exclusively given to friends and family in exchange for their help and support during our early days. The tee was originally dubbed the “Networking T” within the company, which is referenced in the text on the back graphic. The logo on the chest is an updated version of the original globe logo that can be seen throughout the collection as patches and has become a new secondary logo of the brand. The back graphic also invokes the original globe tee as it is also a new take on the old design but with more intricacies. A visual motif that can be seen throughout the Carton brand is the aesthetic cues of schematics and wireframes. We utilize these drawings, which are typically used to figure out the inner workings of technological functionality, to connect to the brand’s meditations on the underlying systems of society that lead to the world functioning the way it does. The black t-shirt has white silk screen graphics on the front and back, and is made from a cotton, bamboo, rayon, spandex blend, making the shirt very soft and comfortable to wear.
